Instructions for Authors

Jurnal Mitra Pengembangan Hukum (JMPH) welcomes submissions of original research articles, reviews, and theoretical works focusing on the field of law and related disciplines. We invite researchers to submit their contributions exploring innovative approaches, best practices, and theoretical advancements in the field of law. Please follow these guidelines carefully to ensure that your manuscript meets the specified format and content requirements.

Manuscript Preparation

Types of Articles:

  • Research Articles: Original research contributions with clear methodology and results.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews synthesizing relevant literature in the field of law.
  • Theoretical Works: Discussions on new theories, concepts, or frameworks relevant to legal practice.

Format Requirements:

  • Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format.
  • Use Times New Roman font, size 12, double-spaced.
  • Include page numbers, line numbers, and a title page with author details.

Structure:

  • Title: Clear and concise, reflecting the content of the manuscript.
  • Abstract: A maximum of 250 words summarizing the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Keywords: Provide 3-5 keywords that reflect your manuscript.
  • Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion: Organize the main text into these sections for research articles. Review and theoretical articles may have a different structure.
  • Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and their implications.

References:

  • Use APA style (7th edition) for citations and references.
  • Ensure all references cited in the text are included in the reference list, and vice versa.

Figures and Tables:

  • Include figures and tables in the manuscript with appropriate captions and numbering.
  • Ensure figures are of high quality (300 dpi or higher) and suitable for printing.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submit your manuscript electronically through our online submission system.
  • Include a cover letter with:
    • A statement of originality of the manuscript.
    • Confirmation that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.
    • A statement regarding any conflicts of interest.

Review Process

  • All manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Authors will receive feedback on their manuscripts within 14 days.
